Yeah you're right.  It's fucking pathetic.  Hence why I refuse to live by the beach.  I don't even like going to Laguna Beach.  It's always crowded.  I can only imagine what this place looked like 200 years ago.  I'm 5 minutes from Cleveland National Forest.  It's nice.  I can go clear my head and feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere.  There is very much a dichotomy in California.  But you  know what NYCbull?  All the people that want to protect the environment, create greenbelts are usually labeled as "liberals" and "hippies" etc..  I love the Sierras.  They are beautiful.  California really used to be a wonderful place to live circa late 20th early 21st century.  What's sad is California is pretty much a microcosm of the direction the rest of the US is headed.  I moved out here from Colorado.  Another beautiful state.

Laguna beach was a beach paradise in the 60 and70s, there was no infrustructions so artists gays and anyone else lived and formed communites and communes helping one another out and creating beautiful beautiful art, There werer gays straights and whanckos all living in harmanoy in a protected area of teh county. THe woater front wasnt even developed,no body around just fun and partying and making art.  WEll eventually as usuall the thoughtless and tastelless shouw up with monew and say I want to buy that, I dont have that so I wnant that. SO they come in and ruin everything with thier money hungry narcissistd desires buyin up everything they can, SOon they tak over and drive all teh      artists out and nothing is left but a shell of overpriced crap food and laughable modern art designed by rich housewieve who cant get a feal job....Long gon are teh gays and cretive tyes that made the commune of Laguna Beach the most beautiful pace on earh.  NOw you will be lucky to eat at over packed shorline strepmalls eating over priced salted crap food that cost an arm and a leg and peopkle eath this shit.

THe new southern California, with thier narcissim, lack of self regard, their pure selfishness and gluttony have taken over Laguna Beach and destroyed it, builnding on every inch of land and destroyin native vegetation to clear way for thier views to the ocean. I have never known there were tasteless and undereducatd rich, but they are ou tthere, just go to Southern California....and be sure to make a stop a Fasshion Island.
