Seven Pounds

Wow.....really a good movie.  A couple of people I saw it with were annoyed with the fact the story line was very linear.  Without spoiling it...you have to wait till the end for it all to come together.  If you are smart you will pick things up as the movie goes along.

Just saw the movie last night. Probably the best movie I've ever seen, certainly within the last 10 years.
At first, you don't really get direct hints about what the title is; it wasn't till the movie was over that I only had clues as to what it could mean. I ended up having to come home and see if there was anything on the net about it, and I found out I was correct in my thinking.
This is the kind of movie I really enjoy. Nothing is too obvious, while some people think "Seven Pounds" was too ambiguous, I thought it was right on, D.A.P. You're having to think about what happened, what might have happened, or what it going to happen. It's like a cat and mouse game, and this movie was great for that. Nothing was a complete giveaway.
I heard a reviewer give it "3.5 Milk Duds out of 4" for his review. I'd go one step further and say 3 and 7/8 Milk Duds out of 4.
About as perfect as a movie gets IMO.

*side note, when looking online to find movie times, I saw two reviews. Talk about contrast! One said "Worst movie of all time. Too boring, didn't understand anything about it, left after 5 minutes."  The next review said pretty much what I noted above; "Best movie in a long time." and continued in a fashion similar to mine.
Will Smith really has turned a corner since his days as the Fresh Prince! :D

Thanks, a movie I will go see. I like movies that make you think. Unlike that one reviewer who left after 5 minutes...seems like they either don't like to think, or were to stupid to think...

7 Pounds the best movie you've ever seen?  Wow.  ANY Will Smith movie isn't even in my top 20 of all time favorite movies.  SlumDog Millionaire is by far and away the best movie that has come out this year.  It's time..........death by Jelly Fish......how retarded.

There is a difference between Will Smith being the best actor I've ever seen, and a movie with a plot/storyline and how well it's executed being the best movie I've ever seen.
There is reading, and there is comprehension. When you learn to decipher between the two, I'll give you a cookie.

in the literal sense "death by jelly fish" may be silly for a movie, but within the context of this movie it makes perfect sense, the connection with his father and his fascination of the creature.

Im not a Smith fan myself, but watching the movie you forget its him and focus on the character. good actors can do that.

Very good movie.  Starts a little slow and I was a little irritated with how Smith had a constipated look on his face the whole movie, but it all comes together.

Surprised that Jada let her husband do such a steamy sex scene.
