Judging from pics, in different settings outside the gym, in non-bbing settings/attire nor posing, these 2 spent quite a bit of time together back in the day.

Didnt know they were good friends. Everyone always talks bout Franco as the good friend.

the best part..

it looks as if frank has his bow strong backwards..hard for me to tell in those shots but it looks as if he's got the RECURVE just curved.  ;D

He used them both for different things...Zane taught him better english(or, Barbara Outland did), as well as algebra and some of his other studies

Franco was his link back to Europe
