Wrong.  We are the largest consumers in the world.  Have you not been paying attention to how much the US market woes affected every other market in the world?  Not just China, everybody.  Comparing Rome isn't accurate.  It's a world economy now, no nation is immune.  Ask Iceland, filing bankruptcy basically, as a nation.  Everybody is intertwined, and the US, whether you like it or not, drives much of the worlds economy.

Do you think there is really that big a difference in 25 or 45?  Having lived in #25 for awhile, Germany, I can attest that there were many, many complaints about the time it took to get to see any type of specialist.  There are all types of criteria to determine what is good or bad.  I have no complaints about ours.

As for the economy, if you really think China is suddenly going to be in good shape by passing a stimulus package, you should probably look a little deeper.  The Chinese have zero interest in the US economy failing.  We import more of their crap than anybody and that isn't going to change.

Bull shit. There is health care for everyone right now. People are just too lazy to find out how. When I was out of work for about a year, I applied for and got government insurance. It wasn't the best but it covered just about anything I needed.

My father has 100% covered health care from his company and we had him in for a bunch of tests 2 years ago because he had the flu, he was out of it, he took Nyquil with some cholesteral meds...etc. It ended up being mixing the Nyquil with the cholesteral meds, but the Doc in the ER ( it was 10pm at night) wanted to run every test imaginable on him. MRI, blood, etc. My Dad is certainly no dope, knew what was up after he heard the Nyguil+ Chol. med diagnosis and wanted out. It was slow so he just tore the IV's from his arm manually and demanded to leave.

He said it himself "They saw my coverage and wanted to do everything they could because they could."

Fair enough, but what are the criteria for this ranking? Is it every single provider in America? Is it quality of care? Is it length of time to wait for care? Is it access?
