Well, in that case, I would have to question his competency.
If he can't solve an infection - as you're talking about the possibility of amputation and consulting getbig's experts for medical advice - it sounds like you should get a second opinion.
Or, maybe you want to live with that growing gash for another year. And let your insurance company spend another 200k on it.
Most people would decide they had given the yale employee enough time and money to solve the problem, and they would consult with another doctor. You're resigning yourself to optimish - while at the same time starting jingoist threads claiming US superiority.
You should instead be directing this energy at locating a specialist who can solve this problem so you're not living with it for another year. Your doc isn't *that* good if the gash is growing and you're talking amputation.
In all due respect, rob, I think you stay in your house too much.
I do, too.
But I have a good reason.
Of course, I have consulted with several other dosctors for multiple opinions.
They have ALL deferred back to Joseph Slade, III, M.D....they say, "He is the best"
I wouldn't not worry too much about thye poor insurance companies spending money on us little people.
Anthem in CT just got busted for havinmg a WINE CELLAR in the company basement....spent with company money for the top brass.
