By all means i do not condone the actions of this man but i never understood the rage instilled in people to "rip his guts out while he is still alive and stick needles in his intestines keeping him hooked up to an IV so we can continue to torture him more" mentality. We are all innocent until proven guilty. If you have ever watched To Catch a Predator on NBC and actually looked at these guys you can tell there is something mentally off with most of these guys. I don't know..... maybe im not sensitive to these kind of issues because i don't have any kids but i think there is clearly a different approach that should be taken to this. It is not rational to risk everything you have to have sex with a 13 year old. It is not a rational decision. In a rational decision you have more to gain then you have to lose.
