Bobby heenan , Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse 'The Body' Ventura were the best announcers in WWF history.... Heenan would come up with the funniest stuff, Gorilla would be the voice of morality and Jesse was the scumbag cheater ( Dino Bravo bench press) ..when i see them replay some of the old stuff, as a kid alot of the jokes went over my head, Heenan esp was comic gold.

I totally agree. JR, King, Tazz, and Michael Cole are terrible. They can never compare to The Brain, Gorilla or Jesse. I watch wrestling with the volume turned down because the announcing is so bad. Heenan is the best Heel in Federation history!!!

I'm much more of an old school NWA fan.  Nothing like the mid-atlantic and Georgia promotions in the late 70's thru the 80's.

There ya go.  Gordon Solie announcing, the best ever.   Makes good ole JR, look like the worthless tub of shit that he is.

Talk about flashbacks.  I remember watching Solie do Georgia Championship wrestling on TBS.  "Brother did he catch him with that one"  and "pier sixer" hahaha
