Watts has aged pretty well.  KK, aren't there a lot of stories about him a promoter where the guys hated him?  Like pushing his son, etc...?

I have herd lots of bad shit about him .   My dad on the other hand has nothing but good things to say about him. says he payed very well and always treaded him good.

Ox Baker?  Oh yeah, he scared me as a kid.

He and my family used to be close when I was real young.  Not sure what hapend

Karl, did u ever want to be a wrestler or go to wrestling school?? Just curious because often u see sons of famous pro wrestlers become rasslers themselves.

Ron will not respond to me asking for it

you can easily get your own board separate from getbig

judging by the velocity of this thread, it would be an excellent go - especially with your name and background

Yes and no.  When I was younger my dad would help a guy he knew with his school from time to time.  I would get in the ring to demonstrate everything cause my dad would always say  " I did not come down here to get all hot and sweaty. "   We always thought that maybe I would go down to Mexico and start down there but I just never perused it.  I don't think I'm big enough to wrestle.  I'm only 5'7 or so about 190lbs.    My brother works for a rather large Indy promotion doing TV commentary and managing and I have thought about wrestling there but have never done that either.

Couple of stories....

I think this is back in the early 90's, I was living in Milwaukee and working at Bally's in Brookfield.  The ultimate warrior came in and wanted to work out in jeans and a tank top.  This was not allowed by Ballys.  Well, they found him these grey sweat pants to wear that were 1 - 2 sizes too small.  The shirt had some gay ass saying on it.  He was PISSED...but it was late and he had no other choice except not to train.

I also was best friends with a guy who worked at the Mc Donalds that was the site of some wrestlers tore apart from the DRIVE THROUGH.  He was flipping burgers when this stone/boulder came flying through the drive through window.  I remember this rock.  Think one of the two smallest atlas stones on WSM events and you will get an idea of it.

Mr. Saito, his dubious claim to fame usually is going to prison (along with Ken Patera) for attacking two police officers after throwing a boulder throught the window of a McDonalds in 1985 in Wisconsin.

hey karl,  how real was the hate for each other when the women would start messing around with fellow wrestlers.  For instance when Liz left Macho Man for Lex etc...  Had to create some drama behind the scenes. I am sure this happens a lot.

I wonder how the G.L.O.W. wrestlers are looking nowadays?

Nothing but crotch shots.  A great time for me as a 13 year old.

Yea I do ever so offten if my brother is doing something cool.  They have some good guys down there.  They did a reality show on them that came on TLC for a short period of time.

I know Macho man used to be so jealous and did not want anyone around Elizabeth.  At wrestle mania 5 he wanted Pat Paterson to personally escort her to the ring he did not want the normal security guys to do it.
