I've been to a few. I joined after my daughters birth. Not impressed, did not like it and the women are to busy yapping to get a heart rate up. I drive by one every day on the way to the gym. On holidays and on xmas eve, noticed it was closed (can understand xmas but xmas eve come on). At least in this area they are big big women that work there. We did a closing for a couple and she told me she worked there, she had to be at least 250 pounds overweight.

It's shit from what i've seen/heard. My mum went there for a while and even she didn't like it. It may be a good starting place for a unfit/overweight women, but if they were serious about improving their health, they would eventually have to join a real gym.

My mom went there for awhile, but didn't get any real results.  Then, back in August,she started doing cardio and lifting in my old basement gym back home and has now lost a total of 29 lbs.

Actually the male one was called "Cuts" I belive.  I guarantee you 95% of the women who go into curves don't work out hard enough to get any results.  If they loose any weight at all, it's just because they are probably dieting.
