Has the weather affected your workouts
« on: December 26, 2008, 03:51:24 AM »
Where I live there has been a foot of snow everywhere for weeks and it is making it so I can't go for long walks, jogging or playing basketball at the park.   :(

Anybody else having this problem?

No, here in Aus it is hot. That can affect my workouts though. Especially when your gym has no air con..... ::)
No doubt about it...

Been cold here in New York.  My workouts haven't been affected but definately more tired when out in extreme cold air.  Seem to be falling asleep earlier than I do when it is warmer.  Must be in hibernation mode.   ;D

Even if it's fairly cold in CA (for CA weather that is), my gym has only 5 windows that open, with 300 people crammed inside. So it's pretty hot in there.
I used to wear sweatshirts and thick "over shirts" in this time of year. Not in this gym, I could walk around in a tank top year round.
Many of the guys do...whether they can get away with it or not!
