Can you link me to that one instead of embedding it? It says "Embedding diabled by request"  :'(

Greatly appreciated, Johnny. The other one claimed the north and south poles would reverse, cause catastrophe and mass extinction, etc..., so it would be nice to hear a different perspective.  ;)

The history channel also reports on big foot, aliens, and ghosts, which is one of the main reasons i stopped watching it.

They don't claim these things are true, though. They just give different people's opinions, then you're left to ponder them for yourself.
Surely you find these things, interesting, right? It's just about fulfilling curiousity, not claiming things are or are not true.

When the history channel can make shows that are on actual history and stuff of substance then i will watch it again. Notice how every time they try to find big foot or the aliens and they set up their test it always comes up as a FAIL. That is because there is no such thing. Im sick and tired of this nonsense you infantiles  ;D

haha no shit. I love when they set up "traps" to catch these mythical beasts and right when they are about to reveal the footage they go to commercial and when they return....... a deer ate the apple, not a yeti.

its not so much a matter of the subject being interesting, the production of the shows and the angle they spin is what makes it horrible.  they always make like they are going to reveal some gem of knowledge and its the same recycled bs over and over again, with a slightly different angle.

a mature person would over see the glitz and know they have to be patient for good facts/hard evidence

nothing wrong with doom and gloom if it attracks people who would normally watch braindead type television

It's pretty dumb to just write something off as not real.

Gorillas were not even widely known about in the english speaking world until the late 19th century.

It's fucking retarded to emphatically state that aliens aren't real, since the universe is so big you can't even comprehend it.

Also, History channel will never go back to showing "real history", since, as a television channel, they survive by generating ratings that interest advertisers.

Exactly. It's intelligent to watch shows that make you think. You can ponder the validity of proposed theories, etc... for yourself, using your own critical thinking skills; watching the show doesn't mean you have to accept it as true. There are endless things we have yet to discover and being interested in things that explore such areas shows an appreciation for that.

Well we can't disprove fairies or hobgoblins but we don't believe in those do we? That is like asking what kind of ice cream the pink unicorn likes to eat.

It's probable that all of those things exist in the infinite future.

basically everything you see on TV is fake and is absolutely unproductive and useless. A waste of time and memory storage being filled by worthless crap.
