I concur with that.

The Mir Vs Nog end result was a bit of a surprise - I was leaning towards a Nog win as well.

Props to the Mir team for coming up with a good gameplan and executing it  Frank looked like a different fighter and his stand up has vastly improved. He was really putting those "three strikes" strategy to good use.

yeah, the 1-2-3 of Mir really worked a lot and he always did the same combination...incredible how Nog didnt do anything about it.

really stupid of him to stay all the time standing up...he should do  what he does best and not try to be a Mike Tyson now in this time of his career...

i like nog, but he didnt make a good fight in UFC, even the others he won (i mean, he isnt fighting the same way he was in Pride)

same as Wand...he changed even his style and is paying for this...I think the change of teams wasnt a good thing for both of them (and to cro cop also)

I hope nog's gameplan didn't consist entirely on Mir gassing out and then pulling guard.

I could be wrong but I didn't see Nog go limp when Mir was raining blows down on him. Then again he wasn't making an effort to defend himself either so maybe it wasn't another Herb Dean early stoppage.

yeah, well i think he was taking well those punches ,but he didnt do anything about it....so i would not say that the judge was completely wrong, but i would let the fight go for a little more time

Nog could barely get back up to his feet.  It was a god stoppage.  Lesanar looked worried :)

Hopefully Mir subs the hell out of Chestnar, but Debussey thinks that Cock Chestnar will give him a lot of trouble.

Lesnar is an animal with a lot of athletic ability & strength.  He's more than a handful for anyone.  But, I still think that Mir will pull this one off....it is destined!

Lets hope your superstition turns into an actual truth 8) (or that Lesnar finally gets caught in that drug test ;D )

The funny thing is that if you look at Mir's comments headed up to the fight, I really think that he might have been scared of Nog. However come fight time, it was like Nog didn't even care about the fight. Ridiculous to just stand there and be a punching bag for Mir when it was for the belt. Great job by Mir and his camp, he came in, in great shape and really took it to Nog.

Questions is where do you see Nog going from here? Fighting Kongo or??
