It all depends on what you have.  There is no reason you can't train legs, like someone mentioned.  With all the gyms going out of business, it's a buyers market on the used side too.  Hit me up with a pm if you want to know how to save a little $ on them.

Heck yea I could.  It wouldn't have been harder in my younger, less mature years.  But now I would asolutely love it.  Would miss the girs though, that's for sure.

i have a power cage, dumbbells, a tread, a bike, a tv at the house. PLENTY of shit to do in a home gym. i use it when supplementing workouts...get bored going to the gym, or just low on time.

i still like to go to the gym....but sometimes its nice to just bang it out at the house late....or early without having to really go anywhere. plus, u dont have to worry about getting ur ass whipped by 145lb cage fighters at your house

Good call!

For back, leg, and shoulder days - I train with the barbell set in the garage.  It's nice - I hide from the fmaily, hibernate in there for about 2 hours.  Lift, play some bass guitar, wire my amp, play with the pedals.  I always lse track of time, I never count sets.  I just train and play music for 2 hours.

I can't do it on leg days, as I don't have a sq rack yet :(

Ok, you would need atleast a powerrack and a bench..

A good rack is gonna cost $2000
A good bench is probably $500
Barbell/Dumbell Handels/Weightplates could get up to like $300+

This is not a cheap option, and your only exercise for quads will be lunges and squats lol

you don't have to spend anywhere near that much, scour the used/miscellaneous section of your newspaper and you could get all that shit for maybe 500 bucks.

I tried it for a while and it didn't work out so good. too easy to just sit on the couch and say "fuck it, I'll do it later" then later never comes.

I like the idea of getting OUT of the house an hitting the iron at the gym. More motivational for me

You'd have to bring in hot chicks to work out in your home gym to make it fun.

tons of affordable home equipment... you can get a power rack for a couple hundred bucks.  the quality is pretty good, I had an entire setup that I spent thousands on from there.
