Looking for member opinions?
« on: December 31, 2008, 11:14:28 AM »
Since we as mods can not ban members on this board, I am thinking about making a sticky for members who's advice is not to be trusted. This will in no way be a list that we will add names to just because somebody does not like somebody else. This will be a serious list to help protect the good members and new members of the board. This is the hardcore section and I think good solid info is paramount. Ive had enough of members telling newbs its great to run 1000mg test first cycle, and telling newbs to not come off. I'm also tired of twinks coming over here and telling people its a great idea to run oral only cycles, with no thought to how an oral only could affect someone with no test production. I'm truly tired of the bs on this board as of late.

I'm thinking the sticky will only be allowed to be accessed by the mods and we as a team along with suggestions from vets of the board will make the decision of who's name to post on the list. The shit that goes on, on this board really pisses me off, and would not be tolerated anywhere else.

I would like good solid opinions here. No trash talk and no bs, just good solid opinions.

Big Rock.

    Agreed.

This used to be the top shelf board to come to for good advice and no fear of being lit on fire for what some consider "dumb" questions. I still love it here, only because I spend more time reading than typing. If you hang around long enough, and do some homework on the opinions posted, you can see who the tards are. Just seems like there's more lately.

If your a newb to AAS (like myself), then Google is your best friend. Double check and read the studies, don't be afraid to PM the 4 mods here if your concerned with being flamed for asking a question, in my experience their good guys.

Lewellens new book is a good read as well.

I say go forth with the list   MHO...

the problem here is everyone has there own opinion on things fine dont run a 1000mg a week as a beginner did you listen when you started I DOUBT IT. I know I didnt and as far as running a all oral cycle who are you or anyone else to say its a bad Idea unless you have done it yourself.I have done alot of cycles and never had a issue but does that mean someone else wont?

These are opinions so who is to say someone know more then the next person, once you say one thing theres someone else out there that thinks differently.

There are standards and safety protocols rawdawg. If you want to run oral only cycles then that's your decision and I am no one to tell you different. If you want to stuff your self with 1000mg of test ew on your first cycle, by all means, but it does not mean other newb members should advertise these practices to others trying to learn the correct way to cycle. There are responsible safe ways to do things and there are careless ways. This board needs to promote the safe smart way of doing things. Of course each individual will have their own differing protocols, but the basics are the basics, stick to them!

This is a tough one IMO, since there are many different ways to go about things.  But I do like your sentiment 4thAD about keeping things safe, cause you are right there is a safe, conserative approach to AAS use that should be supported here.  This safe way of doing things is for sure the best for a new guy or gal for that matter.

Also agree there has been too much bashing and stuff going on too.

Now a board list of names that are bad, Im not sure about  :-\

Would a list of good advice names be better?  Maybe more positive?  But even that is subjective.

You might have something here Luv! That would even be better. Damn I'm glad I thought of that! JK ;D

In all seriousness I think this might be a good idea, lets hear some more members opinions. I'm just sick and tired of all the BS from some members on this board. Members making accusations about certain mods on the G&O and such, is utter BS.

I think it's a great idea to ensure accurate information, but not necessarily with a list of names.  In fact, that's the exact reason why I made a thread this morning inquiring whether "informational stickies" would help provide basic accurate info for newbies to refer to.  Some way, some how, we need to make sure people get accurate information.

I don't normally agree with you but this is spot on.

A blacklist would be a little controversial but I wouldn't be opposed. If someone here is a pariah and decides to stick around despite being bashed by many members, I wouldn't trust their advice to begin with. Newbs won't be able to identify these individuals so perhaps it would be a good idea.

To be honest, if everyone called me out every time I posted I'd just fuck off or continue to lurk... but to each his own. It's my personal decision to err on the side of caution for the best interest of myself and others. I don't think it's beneficial to anyone to hand out liberal and potentially dangerous advise without throwing out some sort of disclaimer.

I'm not an argumentative person but if I give out advice that goes against the grain or is liberal with regards to dosages, side effects and health advice I always buffer my statements with a few words of warning. Better to be safe than sorry. Much better.

This causes members to absolutely flip shit and post three times as many ludicrous posts.

I've had my post deleted before (it wasn't about bad advice though) and although I'm a calm guy, I was so pissed I was ready to punch a pregnant chick in the stomach lol

I agree.  I think if this goes through, a more "positive list" would be better.   Even though it's subjective, at least the members on that "list" can carry on an intelligent "discussion" without getting  personal.

if your "chasing the dream" as in = you want to look like those pros in the magazine, then you will not be healthy or cautious or moderate.

If a member here posts something out of line, dangerous, or is posting up sourcing info it gets deleted. I dont really care how pissed they get.

I am not directing this message at you personally dustin so don't go punching any pregnant chicks. ;D

1,500 mg of test isn't a enormous amount especially if you want to be a amateur in NPC, but it is tons if your shooting it as suspension cause that is very frequent injects and would be painful i would think.
