Tonight is Amateur Night, where the people who don't drink and drive the other 364 days of the year decide to get sloshed and bumble their way home thru traffic.

How many of you will be joining me, drinking at home this evening?

I'm starting the night with a quadruple-rum strawberry daquiri.

Me, but I am with family and have great food on stand by so it's not bad at all. It's snowed here and looks really beautiful outside and I can truly say I'm at peace and ready to ring in the new year quietly with the people I care for more than anyone else in teh world.

I haven't drank in quite a while... not even red wine. these daq's are a bitch-drink, I think all alpha males would admit that. But they taste great and they get me fuzzy, so i cannot complain.

here's to another year of wit, ownings, meltdowns, quality debate, self-discovery, college chicks, deep introspection, and nothing but love from my getbig brothers.

having worked and patrolling the times square crowd for so many years,,ive learned to hate new years eve.. but i might go out later to try hrab a young hoe..

i'm going to a dinner party hosted by good friends who are iranian-americans loyal to the prince of iran. should be interesting conversations; lots of laughs w/good caviar and a wonderful buffet of french foods. may leave before midnight or maybe not. 2 bottles of moet are chilling on the back porch.

I'd almost feel guilty with the title of 'substance abuser'.

I mean, there are people drinking whisky and snorting blow off bathroom sinks in bars tonight. There are people cooking meth in kitchens and sniffing glue from ziplocs.

For me to drink 4 daquiris and get all giggly... I think that would really cheapen the 'substance abuser' title to assign it to me. Can I get a tag like "little bitch drinking fruity drinks"?

It looks like I'm gonna be at home drinking gatorade and water. I'm still getting over a stomach virus from a few days ago and don't feel up for any partying yet.
