Isn't surprising considering people of Iranian backgrounds do pretty well in the states. What I don't get is how he calls her Christian when most people of Iranian backgrounds = muslims or followers of zoroastrianism

There's this funny concept called "conversion". You know, how Christians convert to Islam/Judaism/Buddhism/etc. or vice versa. There is no "Muslim" race.
