Gear left in syringe (still good?)

I have some gear that I loaded in a syringe that I kept in my drawer. It's been there like 1 month now. Do you think it's still safe to shoot or should I just dump it?

im glad he asked about preload because ive been doing it cause i work outa town all week and dont want to travel with all the vials. i leave a lil air between the oil and the lock luer with a fresh needle with cover is that a good way or no

if you put EQ in a syringe after a while the rubber from the plunger(?) can degrade into the oil

you can tell because its blackened

yes, this happens with big multi-dose vials as well.

So I still haven't got a serious answer to my question. Would you guys still shoot gear that's been sitting in a syringe for a month? And what's the cutoff point... 2 months, 3 months, so long as it doesn't look contaminated??

As long as you transfer from one sterile environment to another, you shouldn't have a problem if you have it concealed i.e plastic bag, etc
