Gear left in syringe (still good?)
« on: January 02, 2009, 06:09:08 PM »
I have some gear that I loaded in a syringe that I kept in my drawer. It's been there like 1 month now. Do you think it's still safe to shoot or should I just dump it?

people preload all the time.  Just change the needle of course.

May want to wait for TBombz to come in for his thoughts.

if you put EQ in a syringe after a while the rubber from the plunger(?) can degrade into the oil

you can tell because its blackened

thats pretty cancerous if you inject that  :-X

So I still haven't got a serious answer to my question. Would you guys still shoot gear that's been sitting in a syringe for a month? And what's the cutoff point... 2 months, 3 months, so long as it doesn't look contaminated??

As long as you transfer from one sterile environment to another, you shouldn't have a problem if you have it concealed i.e plastic bag, etc
