I got this place that i went to one time on Kansas City called Gates. That shit was sooooo good. But I really want to go to like Texas and get some BBq Beef Ribs.

Any of you Brohams got a favorite BBQ place?

I've heard great stuff about KC BBQ. I tried the famous Texas brisquet (sp) and BBQ when there, but wasn't very impressed. Of course I prefer pork BBQ. NC has a ton of good places. The further east you get, the better in NC.

I like Baby Back ribs, and pulled pork sandwiches...My bro in NC BBQ'd a whole pig...

all day!!!!!! I cook my ribs in the oven with some vinegar and then throw them on the grill.. Shit falls off the bone, then my steaks, links, and burgers come off crazy.. I also pride myself on my Carne Asada... I have been trying to talk the wife in to letting me spend $1,500 for my grill set-up, but to no avail. I bbq in the snow about once a week and then about 4 nights a week in the summer!

shit bro,...you need to move to atlanta...i could use some carne asada...I marinate mine in lemons limes onion and celantro...

Arthur Bryants is the place to go in KC, we've got a small chain place around here called Bandana's that's fuccking awesome, best pork ribs ANYWHERE.

there is a place in burbank that has awesome ribs. i ate a whole slab of baby backs on monday...when i get to atlanta i go to fat matts...off peidmont...that shit is so good.

i agree Show, pork BBQ absolutely destroys beef when it comes to BBQ.

I do similar, but I also add Mickeys Ice to the marinate. Something my brother started doing back in the hood.. ha-ha it's stuck ever since.

i used to think the same about beef ribs. until this one guy cooked them.. the meat fell off the bone (no homo)..Also i like pork ribs better but have you ever had tri tip beef. Shit i could eat a couple of pounds of that

My brother in cali introduced me to the tri-tip. We can get it at Trader Joes here in NC. Excellent cut of beef. Damn this thread is making me hongry!

Its mostly in central cali and ventura area...Not in Atlanta. That shit is too good....

He lives way up north of Sacramento. I could never find it back here, but then that Traders Joes chain store opened and they have it. You guys have those in the ATL?

Thats the only place in NC that I have found tri-tip. They carry all sorts of kinda hard to find stuff. Decent prices too.

In decatur, on north decatur road and scott blvd is a place called maddy's...fucking stupid good ribs...

down off decatur street, near I believe moreland is a place called fox bro's

Last but not least, off piedmont near lavista is fat matts...

peidmont and lavista...na its on piedmont on the way to midtown from buckhead. it a small street named monroe. like a couple miles north of piedmont park. i used to eat there all the time. 1/2 bird with brunswick stew and corn and sweet tea. There is a place off roswell and peachtree (behind the ihop in buckhead. called shanes rib shack. They have good pulled pork. the place off north decatur ...is the building grey, and do they have live music?
