He did retire; he wasnt going to stay a lean 300 forever. Maybe his wife is looking out for his long term interests.

Ronnie looks much better now, it's good that hes not trying to hang onto his size any longer. It seems like he decided to stay out of the competitive side of bodybuilding while he still has his health

In fact, he looks better than I expected, given the size he used to be and the associated dosages one could guess were in his gear regiment.
