LOL that has nothing to do with what was endorsed by the media...there where plenty of palin ragging by liberal bro...the country is full of idiots who bought in to the rumors 240 is prime example he thinks palins daughter is actually her grand daughter read back over this thread he admits it...the difference is what rumors the media endorsed.

You lost me on your "endorsed by the media comment"

what do you think influenced more voters in a negative way - stories about Palins daughter or stories that Obama was a muslim and a terrorist?

yet you think Palin somehow had it worse

If Palin were smart she would stop whining in front of cameras and microphones.

She's already bitched in public about the McCain campaign.  Do you think any other politician wants anything to do with this dingbat?

Ok maybe thats where we are getting confused im not argueing which rumors had more impact on the other parties views. What im saying is that the nature of palins rumors where much more personal in nature than the obama rumors.

I agree she should stfu and keep quite dignity and let ppl come to their own conclusion about it as opposed to talking about it.

If she was to do that as opposed to carrying on the way she has then maybe in a few years with more experience ya but as of now no at least no respectable politician with a actual chance of becoming pres.

again - I think that it was all pretty much the same.  It's a nasty business.

calling someone a traitor (or implying it) is just as bad if not worse than a story that someone is covering up for theirkid or having an affair.

salacious personal attacks are nothing new in politics

surely Palin is aware of this especially considering that she repeatedly suggested that Obama was palling around with a terrorist.....calling into question his loyalty to his country

time to move on

Palin didn't want to go on Couric a second time.

"The Powers" made her.

i wonder how many other thing in her campaign she said/did that she didn't want to?

I wonder how many of her decisions as president would have been controlled by 'powers'.

The only thing more stupid than this twat still trying to make excuses for her behavior and epic failure in the campaign are the people who are still trying to defend her.

Well, that's because kennedy didn't go on Couric, Gibson, etc.

Palin was up for a MUCH bigger job.  Let's face it - everyone here minimized obama's experience cause he was 'only' a senator.  well, she will 'only' be a sub senator for 18 months.

Holy Christ, she has done 30 interviews since and you still harp on those, she did fine on Gibson by the way HE was the one that dint have a clue what the Bush doctrine was.I have yet to hear your outrage over dumb ass Biden saying FDR was president in 1929 and went on television or telling a cripple to stand up.Can you find ANYTHING Palin has ever said that comes close to those retarded statements.

Haha... a magazine about Alaska claiming she's the hottest governor.

Funny.

I'd bet right now, she's about as hot as a frozen pond to most people... aside from you zany right wing christian types.

Gee - a state magazine claiming their governor is "hot"

Who'da thunk it

That cover is from February 2008

Her popularity had been dropping like a dead turkey in recent months

The most recent gauge of her popularity isn't looking so rosy:

Alaska Standard / Dittman Research (R)
12/5-20/08 (released 1/7/09); 505 adults, 4.4% margin of error
Mode: Live Telephone Interviews

Alaska 2010 Senate
Republican Primary: Murkowski (R-i) 57, Palin (R) 33

I didn't know "hot" was what we wanted in leaders.

Maybe we can have Mark Wahlberg and Fabio broker a middle-east peace deal, then?

Actually, if you ask around, most people don't hate her... I know I don't.

They just think she's a buffoon... Only the Neo-Con right wing christian types think she is not.

Take a poll.

exactly, but Bum, like a certain segment of the right wing likes to feel persecuted.   They play the victim card all the time.  In fact Palin is doing that herself in her most recent rounds of "look at me" interviews.

Dude I could take a "poll" and get whatever results I want.  I doubt Alaska is full of "Neo-Con right wing christian types," whatever that means.  I also doubt the governors from the 50 states who thought she was the most popular governor in the country are "Neo-Con right wing christian types" either.  In large part, it's the anti-religious extremists, and liberal lapdogs, who are terrified of the woman.

So why is her approval rating so low now if she's still so great?

What approval rating are you talking about?  Her approval ratings as governor approached or maybe even exceeded 90 percent.
