And he did the lift with no straps and an overhand grip!!!! That is impressive in itself!

He didn't psyche himself up at all, compared to his usual self.

mixed grip actually

very impressive lift

One of the places I used to work out had this short guy that would psych himself up for big squats. He'd always get a spot for the 1/4 squats and had the bars set high too. Spotting a guy under 5'6" is annoying but 1/4 squats adds insult to injury. :)

I specifically looked for that! I guess he just grabbed the bar so fast I didn't realize his left hand has the underhand grip.

We have one guy that when he is attempting a "big" lift he stares at the weight, takes  lap around the gym, stares at weight, takes a lap and does this like 5 times before lifting it. One day i turned to himaround lap 4 and said "the weight is still here, you can stop checking". He puffed out his lats and went to lap 5.

next time you should get to the weight before he does and go to town on it ;D
it would probably make his lats explode though.
good lift though!

Haha some funny stuff in that vid.. I love how he's struggling on that squat at around 1minute in and instead of helping the kid the one guy is screaming and jumping around like an ape.  Can't believe you could get away with stuff like that at Planet Fitness no less.

Only Ronnie Coleman (And other guys with 32+ inch legs) should be allowed to wear those spandex tights.

That was some display of strength.  585 for three is something very few athletes could do.

I love how he walks around and starts mean muggin' with his fucking Linkin Park face before all his lifts. He's strong, but I've heard that he isn't a true natural. I can't remember who said it but he used SD or m1t or something when it was accepted as a natural pro hormone.

Either way, he's strong. But his ego got to him and he tore a pec. I love how he says if anyone looks better than him, it's not because they work harder. Epic blanket statement for having an ugly Frankenstein physique. He should get off his high horse, start juicing and actually look good as opposed to only looking good in professional photo shoots and never in person.

I sort of empathize about the whole pec tear, but that's what you get when you lift insanely heavy without adequate warm up. Listening to Ramstein on the ol' iPod while grimacing around the gym doesn't count as a warm up!!

Good lift, but he  must be trying to channel Bill Kazmeir.
