That was incredible. Look at what passes as a legal powerlifting squat on the various videos out there and compare it to the video in this thread. Like someone else posted, every inch lower makes a huge difference on the amount of true strength it takes to squat. Try it yourself. Squat 315 to legal power lifting depth. That's less than a half squat no matter what anyone says. Then use a high bar true shoulder width stance and lower yourself until you can't get any deeper. (ass to calf) That's how olympic lifters squat.
