True, this was Flex 1st probably best Mr. O shape. Whereas this is Phil Heath's 1st, and maybe his best shape yet, if he can keep that waist in check.

Actually, No. If you look at the famous pic of Dorian and Flex together (Dorian is hold Flex's hand up)---it's also part of the Olympia 1993  Announcement video, you see that Flex's arms, were a tad bigger Dorian's. Flex lacked Dorian's enormous back width, but pretty much matched him every where else.

No he didn't, not even close. Dorian got 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 93.

I get what you're saying but Dorian admitted the only guy he felt who could give him trouble was Flex , he didn't need to be bigger than Dorian to beat him.

93' Flex is years ahead of Heath. Also, amazingly, he appears to be smarter than him too. I'm using the "Phil Heath Big- Baller Money" picture for proof.

If you had watched the Video where Dorian holds Flex's hand up, you see that Flex did match up Dorian, about the only thing smaller on Flex was his back width and his waist

I don't recall Dorian ever said that. Dorian was very diplomatic, and considered Flex a friend. Plus had Flex trained the same way as Dorian, chances are he would have needed a kidney transplant by his 2nd yr as pro. He was already  having kidney issues in 1992-1993 (after the USA and after the Arnold)

I think I read it in Planet Muscle, where Dorian said that. I have a stack of mags, about 3-4 per month from 98 to 04-05. Waste of money, and I'm not going to waste my time going through them. If I find it it, I'll try to dig this thread up. Then again, just because it was printed in ANY mag, doesn't mean it's true.

And I do not believe Flex's claims about the kidney issues. He consistently spoke about what a rare, fast moving disease it was that he had. But here is is long after he retired and he's still here.
Dig up one of Limewire's posts, after searching Flex's name. I originally made a long post of all Flex's lies...I have no way to prove it, and life really isn't about me digging up his trash. I'm not Geraldo Rivera, so if he does have the disease that's sad. If he doesn't, well, Flex needs to read up on his fairy tales again about "the boy who cried wolf."

i got phil beating flex. flex is dryer, but phil clearly outmasses him on every body part, and wins in every single pose. and since flex is only a little bit better conditioned , phil easily takes it.

Phil is actually the complete opposite of Flex in the way he conducts himself. Heath is a respectable man while Flex is a bozo.

I see Phil heath beats Flex wheeler in ever pose right there. However, both of them are in the mix of my top 6 bodybuilders ever  8)
 
By the way, both of them own Dorian Yates.  :P

Bodybuilding isnt about outright "mass" its the total package..if this was the Case kovacs would be Mr O.

no contest, i was at last years olympia, Heath is no Flex Wheeler and the way wheeler looked at his first ironman and arnold wins was the best he ever looked, and if he had looked like that at the Olympia, it would have been a lot closer between him and yates. Heath is good and may win an olympia one day but the 2008 top5 would not have beaten the 1993 top 5,besides Ronnie coming along at his best over the years bodybuilding hasnt progressed or maintained its high standards. Dexter hasnt improved the standards dropped and hes stayed the same, Cutler was never the class of leverone Wheeler Yates and Coleman at their best.
