come on! expections to the rule all over the (?). cant call it a sport and couldnt come up with something else at the moment1. shawn ray started as a teen and never had a real job, earned about $125K yrly vs $30K w/ a social degree.2. ronnie coleman was still able to keep his career (FT-active benefits) and pocket probably about $4-$5M during his O run. Arlington cop salary over same time is about $300K 3. Phil's turnover into money is probably better than any pro in 4 yrs vs working the desk at a gym. Plus he'll have the O title for the next 5 - 6 matching Jay and Ronnie financial numbers. His Biz degree aint going to make him $100K CO which has jobs but POOR A$$ pay. 4. Not sure what Jay would do outside of bbing. Repair refigs. Over a 12 yr career probably is the all-time money earner. There are exceptions. Everyone cant get an nba or nfl contract. in phil's case that Denver Univ degree will work after his O run.
He also has the added bonus of not having to worry about providing for his retirement as he will probably be dead by sixty...hahahahaha!
Hater.
Today's pro bodybuilding doesn't appeal to but a few. The 70's to mid 80's were probably the best times for pro bodybuilding.
The actual physiques peaked in the mid to late 90s. Pro bodybuilding is dying, plain and simple. Where are the exciting physiques? Sure, there are a couple here and there (Martinez, Heath), but that's it.
i agree E
