when is the best time to train??
« on: January 12, 2009, 05:01:08 PM »
i've noticed that most pros train at 10am or 2~3 at noon
any reason to this ?  (not talking about second training sessions)  i've read a study where it shows higher
power input for an athlete at evening so it gets me wondering..

when i lift weights early in the morning i notice a decrease in the amount of weight i can lift...especially on exercises like deadlift, squat, and bench. i know i am not a morning person, so it may just be me and could vary from individual to individual. but i definitely prefer evening workouts.

6:00am on a empty stomach...just after waking.  late evening strength levels arent good from so much activity.

I have trained at all hours and don't notice a difference. I'm weak at all hours of the day. It doesn't matter IMO, just get in whenever you can.

i used to think everyone was the same way but reading through the boards, it seems like a lot of people prefer to workout early in the morning and they think it is optimum time for them to do so... i dunno  :-\

I find early morning trainings that I am about 10% weaker than I am if I train either later morning or early afternoon.

Should be when you are in the gym.

Is this your professional opinion or some other miracle training system?

Most pros like to train when their mom goes to work. That way they are ready to eat when she gets back and cooks dinner.
