I think community organizers were very effective in mobilizing the Obama vote in the 2008 election.

They spread the word about what he planned to do, they delivered some spectacular rallies, and the events they planned in communities (dinners, rallies, etc) on a weekly basis were very effective.

Admittedly, Biden's wife wasn't killed by a drunk driver, but she's still the same none the less... dead.

Now, I do not think it's right for him to continue down that path, but sometimes people need ways to cope and blaming others and having something evil about them is sometimes a way they do it.

I don't think it's fair to say the guy was drunk and it tarnishes him, but I think I can understand why someone would do it.
