Not sure if he is a gimmick - there are other gimmick accounts started after he registered that have been Timed out. Ron is allowing instant registration at the moment and then does a check a few days later. That's why new accounts are created without any delays but are sent to Neverland a few days / posts later when Ron does his rounds and finds them to be a secondary account of an existing member.

I love it when you newbs with accounts only a few months old that are a few hundred posts deep have more intricate knowledge of threads from 2-3 years ago than the actual people that posted in them at that time.
