REcipe?
Super simple. You can do it with or without tahini.
2 16 oz cans of chick peas (save the cans)
Two cloves of garlic
Pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp Olive oil
Lemon juice (to taste)
Tahini ( a couple of tbsp...to taste, but careful not to overdo it as the taste and texture can creep up on you)
You can add other things like sundried tomato, red pepper, etc.
I use a food processor. Toss the cans in, puree. It'll be pretty thick, so now is the time you can add a bit of the water that the peas are packed in. Take it easy...a little at a time. At this time, add the lemon juice, garlic, tahini, olive oil, and anything else you might want.
I mix everything to taste and people that have tasted my hummus dig it way more than the store-bought stuff.

Feel free to ask more if I've left any unanswered questions. I tend to ramble as if everyone knows what I'm talking about. Oh...and I don't bother making tahini. Too much trouble. A bottle will last you a while. Good luck!
