I am not so sure birds took out two engines. Maybe lack of maintenance by US AIR. :-X They could go bankrupt real quick if it got out that they don't maintain their planes.

Like at the end of the 90s when they had a shitload of crashes and it came out that their planes weren't maintained very well and that they were consistently violating safety regulations? Pretty sure they made it through that as they're still around today.

It was the works of the Free Masons, the Duponts and Rothschilds.  ::)

The Bilberberg brigade has extended their influence into the USA's fowl population!!!!!! DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously tho - airlines, like many companies are broke.  theyr'e probably cutting corners with parts, changes, service, and employees.

Pilot did call in that he hit a bunch of birds tho, right?

There was an article on cnn.com two weeks ago talking about the fact that there hasn't been a fatality on a US plane in two years. They had only gone one year without a fatality four times or so (can't remember exactly) in the last 50+ years. Obviously they're doing something right.

The pilot, identified as Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger III of Danville, Calif., "was phenomenal," passenger Joe Hart said. "He landed it — I tell you what, the impact wasn't a whole lot more than a rear-end (collision). It threw you into the seat ahead of you.

"Both engines cut out and he actually floated it into the river," he said.

cut out, as if there was a remote device already planted ahead of time? hmmm

The plane was submerged up to its windows in the river by the time rescuers arrived, including Coast Guard vessels and commuter ferries that happened to be nearby. Some passengers waded in water up to their knees, standing on the wing of the plane and waiting for help.

why did it take rescuers so long to reach the impact point? isnt there constant interaction between ATC and pilots? werent they aware of  the planes dire situation before it had to make an emergency landing in the water? why was the plane submerged in water UP TO THE WINDOWS before rescuers arrived? hmmmmmm

Dave Sanderson, who was flying home to Charlotte after a business trip, said the sound of an explosion was followed by passengers running up the aisle and people being shoved out of the way.
an explosion? sounds like more of a predetermined elaborate scheme then some geese flying into an engine. hmmmmmmmm

The controller told the pilot to divert to an airport in nearby Teterboro, N.J., but it was not clear why the pilot did not land there.
Why did the pilot choose to not take the course to the suggested airport? why did he ignore the instructions of ATC? hmmmmmm

Church said there was no mayday call from the plane's transponder.
hmmmmmmmm

Bank of America and Wells Fargo said they had employees on the plane. Charlotte is a major banking center.
if this doesnt raise flags for you then you must be a real naive dumbass. more elitist manipulation of society. HMMMMMMMMM

chunk of birds was big enouigh to show up on radar, hence why it killed both engines.  and they always hear the explosion of engines when they flare out.  plane was submerged quickly because of the luggages sized holes in bottom let cabin fill with water.  Pilot was a vet who preferred water to making the lap, as his altitude was dropping quickly.

I'm all for a good conspiracy theory, but I don't see one here.  Pilot made a maverick move and dipped to water, and it paid off.

I know someone who watched the plane hit the water and said the pilot did an unreal job in landing that thing on water.

Oh and did you have to use the word "maverick?"  ;D
