It's time to have a serious, GetBig family conversation about one of the most dramatic turning points in modern TV history.
'CSI' is television for our time and when you look at American jurisprudence, it's possible that no other show has had as dramatic an impact on our society over the past decade. All over the country, juries are filled with individuals who are demanding CSI-like perfection from the state.
The show is going to survive because of the strength of the brand, but truthfully, how good can the show be without its cornerstone?
youve got to be kidding?, right?
CSI is like the "find the sperm" version of the A-Team.
each week airs a canned episode where theres some kinda "mystery"..some evidence, normally trace, is found, and science leads them to the perp.
EVERY WEEK, same shit, different perp, slightly different storyline. most weeks someone uses some DNA or UV light or chemical to spray on shit...yawn ywan.
the dialogue makes me cringe, is ultra corny and the acting is woeful.
All in all, its the exact same formula that the A Team and Miami Vice did- and they followed on from The Rockford Files and Quincy MD.
Best of all is the music tracks. The same themes and melodies over and over. like some beverley hills cop remake.
