The word on the street is that Blu-ray shows *too* much detail.

Apparently, ass pimples aren't as hot as Sony thought they would be.

I have a PS3 but haven't seen one BlueRay disc yet (and probably won't as movies usually aren't "bought" anymore today ;D)? Do you really see a difference compared to DVD??

you will do fine with an up converting dvd player. The ps3 up converts, but i hear it is not that good.

Is there any Blue Ray porn out? I can just see it now.....we get to see all the skanky "hot" porn starlets with pounds of makeup, their roughed up beef curtains flailing about and plenty of herpes sores and butt cheek pimples... :-[ :-\ :'(

I have a 40" Samsung and a PS3 and the movies look fine. I get tired of paying $35 for a damn movie though.

good question. I am in West Virginia and they do not have Blue Ray disk to rent up here but at my house in Florida they do. When the hell is JAWS coming out on Blu-ray?

I may have to try that. I did not know that they rented out Blu-Ray disc. I have one of the best movie on Blu-Ray and now i am waiting on the other movie i want..JAWS!!

There is, but the industry giants aren't happy with the results and won't be using the maximum resolution IF they even continue producing anything in that format.

sony paid them,and others to drop hddvd. So jaws and many other movies should start making there way on the blu-ray.
