Funny you say that. I was just having this conversation with someone the other day. People with a brain ask themselves, can I be a good parent? Can I afford a child? Once they realize just how difficult it is to raise a child, they'll usually set a limit on how many kids they want to have.

The kid they attacked was an honor student and star athlete.  He's now in stable condition, but dealing with a brain injury.  One can only speculate right now how this will impact his near future with respect to college, scholarships, etc.

These gangs are composed of mostly protected groups like blacks and hispanics. As harshly as they needed to treated and punished, it'll never happen. You see this thing in society every sort of day. Them creating havoc and filling up the prison system is no fault of theirs but is collectively a fault of America, its society and the justice system. You cannot get any accountability from these two demographics. Don't mean to be racist or anything but that's the honest truth from someone's who's been around this kinda thing almost half his life.

The authorities cannot deal with them in a harsh manner without being accused of racism. People cannot take these issues to the forefront even though its desired by the vast majority of the people out of fear of racism.
