I've been developing a pet theory...  Think back to Joseph Heller's landmark novel "Catch-22."  The basic premise of my theory is this:  Any man who aspires to a position of power and influence over others, is not worthy of that power and influence.

As supporting evidence for my theory, just look at the clueless, corrupt, idiotic, power-hungry stuffed shirts in Washington.  I mean...  by and large they're buffoons who should be rounded up and given a stern verbal reprimand.  (hahaha, how's that?)

Our President and other elected leaders should be nominated by the people and then elected by popular vote.  In all likelihood the best man (or woman) for the job is someone who has the good sense to not want the job.

This is still a theory in progress but like I said that's the basic premise.

The country should also be run by the people.  Rather than having elected officials hold all the power to form and pass legislation, it should be done with a majority vote of the population.  Sure, there are people who are not capable of making good decisions, but as a majority, I think the country is wiser than Washington.  For instance, there's no way this bail out plan would pass if it was voted on by the people.

His financial adviser or w/e is also a self-hating racist. Let's use this thread to archive all the fucked up things this administration does.

I honestly thought Obama might not be as bad as some have labeled him.  But I think he's going to be a huge fuck up and disgrace.  Like Bush but in a very different way.

Ron Paul: I'd like to be president mainly because of the things I don't want to do. I don't want to run people's lives. I don't want to run the economy. And I don't want to police the world.

That's what I'm talking about!  He'd get my vote in 2012.  That's what I'm gonna be looking for next time around.

A socialist government is the last thing America needs right now, they actually think they can get out of this mess with more spending.
