Boy, downtown Los Angeles has never been nicer, at least the are from the Convention Center to the Westin Bonaventure hotel, where we walked around yesterday, even though it rained a little here and there. We visited Gold's Gym Downtown Los Angeles, and it is one of the nicest most up to date gyms around, pretty high end.
Not much happened on Friday here. The competitors registered and got their packets and information Friday at 2pm, and a few pictures here and there arriving were taken. Some of the competitors which had read the predictions that Isaac, myself and others wrote on them, were either pleased and thanked us for thinking of them and placing them higher, or were irked at us for not placing them higher. It is interesting to note that these predictions are just for fun, but some people can take it very seriously.
They were setting up yesterday, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall, upstairs level. Last year, the expo and show were in the West Hall, so it took a few more minutes to go to the area across Pico Blvd. It looks like it is going to be a good expo, lots of booths, lot of various competitions, including powerlifting, MMA displays, and more.
It was nice catching up with people. Lunch as the ESPN Zone, dinner at the Yard House with some good friends who gave us an earful and some great stories that lated after midnight, with a bar tab of way too much.
So yes, I have a small headaque this morning, and damn hungry now, in which we are going to go eat asap.
Isaac and I wll take lots of pictures, which should be put up on bodybuilding.com as soon as we can!
