Punch is A LOT technique.

Be patient and get a coach to show you gow to do it. Power then comes.

A big haymaker will knock someone out if connects properly. But learn to throw correctly then work on power and you will be devastating.

You can learn the technique in seriously an hour...though working on power speed combos etc will take ages.

Exactly, when a boxer teach me how to punch in the gym,I always remeber that how my grand father hit a golf ball waaaaaaaaay more far away than me.
Its a whole body technic. Without it, it doesnt matter no matter how much muscle you carry.

Can't believe it was'nt mentioned, but inorder to not break your hand make sure to focus the punch between the first 2 knuckles, shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line, so punch in a straight line and get your bodyweight behind it. Important!...When fighting this is not Roy Jones Jr. shit...Hit to hurt!...I mean using the middle knuckle on the middle finger as a spear and aim for the eyes, throat, temples, and especially the solar plexus..

My friend was a top boxer. Unfortunately i was fighting on new years eve 07/08 and my hands etc were bruised. I mentioned to my friend why i wasnt trianing and showed him my hands. They were yellow all over the first 2 knuckles right halfway don the back of my hands.

He said "at least you were hitting them the right way" LOL
