According to Limbaugh, Obama “basically told them stop listening to me. That’s not how things get done in Washington. We can’t let Rush Limbaugh stall the stimulus plan.”

Limbaugh, heard locally on WRKO-AM (680), said today that Obama’s more frightened of him than Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) and House Minority leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is Mitch McConnell. He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party,” Limbaugh said.

Limbaugh today planned to unveil his own bipartisan plan to “resolve the fight over the stimulus package.”

“I think Obama wants me to fail,” Limbaugh said. “President Obama, by telling you and the elected Republicans in Washington to not listen to me because I am not how things get done in Washington, he has said that he wants me to fail.”

I tell people not to listen to Rush all the time, because he's a buffoon... Trust me when I say he's not in my head.

There's a lot of stretching going on there... Obama is effectively saying cut the party bickering... Only Rush thinks Obama really gives a shit about him... Well, Rush and Beach.

The most powerful man in the world is talking about a radio talk show host. A little disturbing. The words "Rush Limbaugh" should never come out of the man's mouth.

Not a huge deal, but I did have serious concerns about Obama's judgment during the campaign. Stuff like this doesn't help instill confidence. Next he'll be talking about Sean Hannity.

what i think is ironic is the similarities to limbaugh and ppl like olbeirman but Obama said nothing about the dems not listening to olbeirman only the reps not listening to limbaugh. CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN.

Olberman is nothing like Limbaugh and he's already starting to go after the Obama administration on wiretaps, investigating crimes of the Bush Administration etc.... No doubt Olberman is in the progressive camp but Rush is just a piece of shit. What American goes on TV and proudly proclaims that he's wants the new President to fail, especially in our current situation with 2 wars, and the economy in meltdown

Olberman is just like Limbaugh...or at least equally as bad. Its just that far less people listen to him. His critical sarcastic partisan way is just like Rush. If you can't see that, then you are blinded by your own partisanship.

I can understand the second comment b/c he worded it in such a way that would attract the attention that he is recieving. I however have said basically the same thing in different words on here many times "I hope he is a great president, I hope he doesnt get half the shit that he wants accomplished but i hope he is a great president" is basically saying i hope he doesnt get a lot of liberal shit done, which if you read limbaughs full transcript instead of 240's spin job is what he meant.

On the 3rd comment im gonna give you one of these
