No Mike, that was a bodybuilding contest and, based on the rules it follows, the contestants are supposed to have all around musculature, symmetry between the muscles, conditioning and an overall flow to their physiques. He was big and freaky, but that is not enough for him to place well in a contest.

By that same "big and freaky" logic, Brad Hollibaugh should be Mr. Olympia.

I agree it is a tough physique to judge .... if you are going on aesthetics. But on freak-factor he almost wins the show? So .... some middle ground may be around 6-7th?

But in this weak line-up I think the IFBB could have done themselves a marketing favor by including him with the top boys because he would have been a crowd favorite due to his freakiness?

That's ridiculous. Martin doesn't have Synthol parts that jump at you. If he used it... well, it's not at a level that immediately jumps at you.

The back is a weak point, true. But Martin is pretty damn evenly developed i.e symmetrical. He is more symmetrical than Silvio though most would probably say Silvio is more aesthetic. Sure, not the most beautiful physique like I said but a comparison to Brad is ridiculous. The Lebanese guy would make a better comparison if you insist on comparing someone from this line-up to Brad. He had those eye-sores.

Real bodybuilding is about lines ,small waist (no gut), wide shoulders .... Martin is completely the opposite
