That's ridiculous. Martin doesn't have Synthol parts that jump at you. If he used it... well, it's not at a level that immediately jumps at you.

The back is a weak point, true. But Martin is pretty damn evenly developed i.e symmetrical. He is more symmetrical than Silvio though most would probably say Silvio is more aesthetic. Sure, not the most beautiful physique like I said but a comparison to Brad is ridiculous. The Lebanese guy would make a better comparison if you insist on comparing someone from this line-up to Brad. He had those eye-sores.

This guy is EVERYTHING that is wrong with modern bodybuilding. He has a good (not great) physique and has taken the drastic measures to get crazy ripped ... meaning his Glutes are insanely striated and very impressive.

BUT then... he ruins it all by pumping synthol (esciclene, whatever ...who cares?) into his weak body parts (calves for one... see the golf ball lumps?) and ends up looking like a circus FREAK!

And THIS is the VERY reason pro bodybuilding is dying!!!!!!

This Bannout guy doesn't have the structure for high level bodybuilding.
he looked like a collection of bodyparts with no flow.

I think the show was judged pretty good overall, Martins a big hard guy and no doubt should have been higher, but definately not top 5, an argument for 7th or 8th could be placed on his conditioning and his overall more completness than someone like bannout who placed ahead of him. but thats only from the photos, seeing it first hand by being there is the only way you could call a conspiracy to anything.

Martin was big, no doubt. And cut. Might have been as high as 10th, though,  but not much higher. He really needs a better back. He turns around and his lats are non-existant when he's posing and flexing. It's really obvious when you see him live next to the other competitors. These guys all hit their poses at different times during the mandatories, so the photos are rarely accurate at seeing every guy at their best.

Tip#1:
All calves look the same on stage regardless of size. No one looks at calves.

Any show will have a relative amount of controversy. This show was judge well, obviously some competitor could be couple spots higher or lower. But what is sad is that the 90% of criticism is from people that were not there and think that just because they work out they are experts.

I was joking, Phil is freaky and have one of the best closed hands MM that I have ever seen next to Levrone, but his back width is almost non existent and thickness is not much better. Not a put down at all, just his genetics.
