When dieting do you cheat?

Im trying to go 8 weeks without cheating, it only slows ur progress.
Anyone done this before?

Compete. That pressure will never make you cheat. If i dont compete, i will cheat 100%.

I live the cheat lifestyle.  "Cheat" days are when I actually follow a diet, about 1 day per week.

I don't diet at all.

I once went from 230-190 and all that happened is i looked "slightly" leaner.

I have found that the more i eat, the leaner i get.

You really need to get ur metabolism racing, so ur hungry every 2 hours, but never overeat in one meal.

grazing every couple of hours, but never till full.

You will look lean as fuck, while adding bodyweight (muscle)

i don;t even watch what i eat. for example 1 meal may be a snickers bar and a pint of milk.
Cakes, chocolate, nothing is off limits. Just never eat too much in one sitting. eat till 3/4 full.


It's all about jacking up your metabolism.

NEVER!!!!! Actually they come out with a new flavor of Oreo every year in late july-august when im dieting and i eat 2 of them but that's the worst i have ever done. I usually feel so guilty after that i have a cardio meltdown.

That should only go for the people who know what they are doing. Cheating should only be used if necessary. Everyone i know who has successfully dieted down as lean as they could go was consistent with their diet. The only time you should start throwing in calories is if you are in the final week/weeks of your diet and you are clearly about as lean as you are going to get and you just start dropping pounds like crazy out of the blue. I don't recommend cheating mainly because it is hard to stop once you start. I think people think of junk food when they think of cheating. The term refeed should be used and you should raise your calories to maintenance and use cleaner foods like oatmeal. If you are dieting hard enough it will be delicious.

Yes but you will get to a point where the sorbitol is just going to cause you to fart and shit all the time if you go low enough. I personally don't have a problem with it. Remember that sorbitol is a laxative.

Yea im bitter and mean as hell when i diet hahahaa. It is normal. I mean im fine really until people start asking me questions. I only dieted for 6 weeks this year when i prepped for my show so it was very mild.

maybe you aren't getting enough carbs or fat

unless you're obese and need to constantly eat, i don't think peoples moods should change that much unless they are cutting down to contest level body fat

It's all about jacking up your metabolism.

This is pretty sage advice.  Most fat people push their stomachs to failure by eating as much as they possibly can (and of food lacking nutritional value).  Portion control works.

Well, its just exaggerated emotions.
For example something that would annoy me normally would piss me off now, its on and off.
That said i am dieting very strictly and focusing hard to stay on. All salads and protein, except a few times a week where I eat oatmeal in the morning to refeed.

Its getting good results though, the bodyfat is melting away.

Its a personal goal, ive never been below 9%. The goal is 7%

what kind of diet are u doing? if its low carb then a planned cheat or refeed woudl be beneficial.

You should have a cheat meal once a week or so. I tried not doing it while dieting, my metabilism slowed down too much. Depends upon your cycle, i did a 3 day high, medium, low carb cycle, cheat meal on the second high day.

keep your fat intake up with some nuts/peanutbutter/oil. otherwise you will get massive cravings for chocolate and junk food.

don't overdo it though, alot of cals in fattys.
