If you are planning on seeing it, wait until it's on video, o.k. but not exactly worth $20.

Without spoiling it, what were your main complaints?

Some scenes tended to drag. Storyline overall was somewhat blah.

I thought it was very good. some great acting and very interesting story lines. the movie kind sends a message to people not willing to take a chance and who are satisfied with being complacent. i would recommend it.

it wasnt really about status or class, the problems they faced could happen to the wealthy. there is a great performance by Kathy Bates mentally disordered son. best part of the movie. i would watch it again.

Yeah, I just saw it.  I agree with the Atheist.  That stuff can happen to anybody.  And the mentally challenged son was an excellent role.  He seemed to have a bit of a Joker feeling to him.

That being said, I did feel there were some problems to the movie.  The pacing was slow and it seemed to lack the sort of pop that a movie like American Beauty has.  I enjoyed it and would enjoy seeing it again, but it isn't the type of movie I would recommend to many.

That movie looks stupid as all fuck.  And the mentality of the husband and wife is the problem with fucking people.....especially parents nowadays.  When you decide to raise kids and have family it's called GROWING THE FUCK UP!  Being an adult is living your life for something and someone else.  Just another dumb Hollywood movie promoting the "me" mentality of our society.  If they didn't want to live their so called boring life in the suburbas they should have never gotten married and had kids.  Boo hoo.......there are people starving in the fucking world and these stupid middle class fucks are feeling sorry for themselves because of their boring suburban lives.  Gimme a break!  I would meltdown all ove Kate Winslet's titties though! :)
