I never watched it. Was it claiming some folk were meant to be fat, some mean to be slim? I think i read about it in the tv guide.

I hope it didn't just give fat people more things to blame their obese states on.

it was actually saying about how some people can eat shit and stay lean.

went into the science.

Done an experiment people ate 2x their calorific requirements daily. Some added very little in 4 weeks.

One chinese guy added about 10lbs but didnt look heavier. Mad bastard increased his muscle mass lol

was interesting. I am sure you can get it on BBCi Player

No, it was think people trying top get fat. They really struggled BIG TIME.

Went into detail about fat cell size an number. They literally gorged and never done any exercise for 4 weeks. Most weight added was something like 11lbs

its years nad years of abuse to get so fat.

does not happen overnight at all or even in a year unless a conscious effort is made to turn to blubber

I ddin't watch the programme but I read an article on it on the BBC website. Quite interesting - I think it tended to focus more on skinny people not being able to gain weight rather than the other way around.

People say the metabilism slows over time.

I know i am young, i wonder how true that is. People get fatter slowly over time and do less as they get older, that's not the metabilism slowing down because of age.

guy with the beard and dr marten shirt seemed like a knob. Also some scientist claims that youre only a cold/flu away from becoming morbidly obese. what a load of wank. overall though it was quite interesting. it made a change from the usual excuse fest of documentaries bout people who cant lose weight
