oh brother...  ::)

I used to work with a guy...  he was a brilliant programmer (he called himself more of a "hacker" than a programmer) but in every other aspect of life he seemed to be pretty clueless.  His level of scientific ignorance was alarming.  I mean me and the other guys would have these deep discussions about off-the-wall topics related to physics, cosmology, etc. and he would just not have a clue what we were going on about.  And not surprisingly, he seemed to fall for every CT that came down the pike.  Chemtrails, aliens running the world governments, you name it.

So my point being...  I think that's pretty typical of those CT types.  They're so ignorant that they fail to see all the countless flaws and impossibilities in their pet conspiracies.

CT is just defined by what year we're in.

In the 1970s, people who said the Gulf of Tonkenw as staged event were known as CTers.

Today, our govt blamed a mid-level paperwork error for the attack, and admits we were never fired on.

We were in a war, many died, much $ spent - because of a paperwork error.  And back then, your dads probably mocked the damn hippies and called them CTers for believing something we wouldn't admit for 40 years.

fair enough. I'm a liquor guy, myself.

I think the main reason the 911 truthers have so much passion is that they hear Dubya and Rudy on TV every other day using 911 as their excuse for Pat act and every other military spending thing.

If it was like OK City, they'd smell bullshit, shrug it off as a case of bullshit, and call it a day.  Rubbing the big lie in everyone's face every day is what keeps the 911 kids motivated, really.  They'll probably lose interest bigtime now that it's not being tossed in their face every 5 minutes.  obama sure doesn't cite it much.

You can't handle the truth!

Seriously, you showed that you can't , you rather believe any BS someone throws at you just to make yourself stand out of the regular crowd.

I don't believe dubya was controlling planes that AM.

But I do believe for some reason, he chose to ignore that really specific warning he got 6 weeks before.  When the feds deliver a memo to you with lights blaring in the middle of the night - you read it.  When that same memo comes from 2 allies that same night, you pay attention.

it's either gross, gross neglect - and I doubt that - or they got the pearl harbor they wanted.  Who knows.

I don't buy into the silly CT stuff about aliens, etc.  I do believe sometimes people let small, bad things happen to prevent bigger things later.  You know, set up a few dozen bases and 100k men in a region about one generation before they discover the internet, stop killing each other over a book, and start shutting us outta the oil.

But hey, IFBbwannaB, that's probably something you disagree with.  You don't think a leader would be able to do that.  Cool.  that's your opinion.

LMAO!  It was a pretty simple fucking question.  It has nothing to do with conspiracy bullshit.  If you are such a staunch military expert how long does it take for the United States to scramble a fighter jet to ward off an enemy target such as an incoming nuclear threat or yes another airplane.  It should be a rather simple question as billions of dollars and countless years of military research and planning go into it.  Again I don't know the answer that's why I was inquiring to the go to go military expert analytical getbig representative.

condi admitted under oath that she and bush were handed the memo.

she said she then handed it to rummy and didn't read it.  he said he handed it to ashcroft, who denied reading it.  they pointed fingers for a week and the matter was dropped.

Nobody read it.  That's their story.  Do you believe ANY document would arrive like that, middle of night with sirens, and 4 of the top 6 leaders of america wouldn't read it?  nahhhh

It doesn't matter, even if they all read it and even supposedly gave an order to ignore it.
9/11 happend in MUCH lower levels, air traffic controllers, people coming to work in WTC, airport security and so on.

Everyone were in the loop?

Wow.  that is some messed up thinking.

We voted in Bush to protect us.  "It doesn't matter" if he let 3000 people die?

"It doesn't matter" if a member of our govt gave an order to allow a terror act to occur?

That is illegal, in case you didn't know that.

I don't konw what else to say.  I really don't.  That quote says it all about you.

Whether the government was forewarned, knew about it or not isn' the point.  The point is the military's response was absolutely terrible.  They can't shoot down two airliners before they crash into buildings but are supposed to be able to protect us against nuclear attack and terrorism?

maybe it's not your point.  It is my point.

If any american knew of the attacks and assisted in making them happen by giving an 'order to ignore', as we know dubya did in that execu order in hollywood FL to call off the dogs monitoring Atta...

then this american committed treason.  They helped terrorists kill americans.

I don't know why people are so cool with leaders who don't stop attacks.  They SWEAR to protect us. It's their job.  They take an oath, and get a paycheck, and part of that job description is to stop attacks.

I am SHOCKED that people are just cool if an 'order to ignore' was given.  Shocked.

No you're absolutely right.  My point was we can sit there and argue about who knew what, when etc.  Bottomline is someone knew something and our military, intelligence, government failed the American people.

LMAO!  What nonsense.

How big, then, is AQI? The most persuasive estimate I've heard comes from Malcolm Nance, the author of The Terrorists of Iraq and a twenty-year intelligence veteran and Arabic speaker who has worked with military and intelligence units tracking al-Qaeda inside Iraq. He believes AQI includes about 850 full-time fighters, comprising 2 percent to 5 percent of the Sunni insurgency. "Al-Qaeda in Iraq," according to Nance, "is a microscopic terrorist organization."

bottom line is that condi admitted getting that memo, on the red-eye from DC to crawford in middle of night from FBI with sirens blaring.

Then she told 911 commission she didn't read it.

Bush was in the room.  fbi agent said bush said "you've covered your ass, goodnight".

Condi said she gave it to rummy.

Rummy said he gave it to ashcroft.

All 4 say they didn't read it.

This same memo came from isr and ger that same day.

This memo is redacted/blacked out regarding the details.  In 40 years, we'll get the declassified version, and it'll list what germany said it lists - names, dates, targets, means of attack.

And all of us CTers, 70 years old in diapers, will see we were right.  it'll be ancient history by then of course.  Just like nobody cared about govt admitting Tonken never happened to start vietnam.
