Even though Levrone lost you gotta be impressed by a man being able to keep up with a world class sprinter especially at Levrone's size.

There is no way those lower times are legit. Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans recorded the fastest electronically timed 40 ever at the NFL combine with 4.24.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Johnson finished first overall in the 40-yard dash with an official 4.24-second time. This is the fastest time ever recorded at the NFL Combine since using electronic timing, and was the fastest ever recorded for a running back. Johnson was also fourth highest among running backs in the vertical jump with a 35-inch jump. His 10-foot, 10-inch broad jump was third best among the running backs.

I don't believe the lower ones either. My buddy is a die hard Vikings fan and at least once a month mentions Bennett's 40. I had thought that was the lowest. Didn't expect to see the lower ones. Either way, their numbers (and most likely the numbers these Getbiggers are claiming) are bullshit. Running a 4.4 in high school gets you playing D-1 football, regardless of how skilled you are.

Not always...the only thing that counted to be a "walk on" for USC was the 40 time  :-\
(or at least before Carroll was there)
just not good enough

"Not only does Keven Levrone lose in this 60m race, he gets blown out. Chambers runs an easy 6.64 seconds without track spikes, during the off season (when he is at his worse shape). Levrone ran 7.8 seconds, a time which most high school males and some high school females can easily beat. "

Well that Dexter Jackson isn't running a 4.19 either. A 4.24 was the fastest ever recorded electronically at the combine...the announcers loved talking about it during every Titans game.

it wont get you D1 but you'll get looks.  Marshall Faulk only had about 600yds rushing his Sr yr at Carver..but had a sub-4.4 40...so he got his break at SDS.  where you played ball?

dex is full of it.  isnt he from South FL?  no way on the face of this earth he'd run a sub 4.2 and didnt get an athlete offer from someone.  then...placed in a best fit position later.

DEX IS FULL OF S##T!  HOPE YOU ARE READING DEXTER.
Oh...Monica!

Levrone ran 7.8 seconds for 60m?

It's slow when you compare him to Dwayne Chambers but still impressive when you consider he's probably dragging over 230lbs across the track. Still faster than I could ever run it.

no,he didin't keep up,at that sprint ,anyone who could run just a bit is not going to be 4,3.. seconds slower than chambers, just 1.5 seconds are a lot
what is impressive is that levrone could run with his size and not get injuried

i agree. i have no problem with Usiah Bolt bragging because he's the fastest man in the world but Dexter and Phil just sound stupid when they make claims like sub 4.4 40's.

Levrone got KILLED by Chambers and you're right Chambers probably only ran at about 80 percent, it was ridiculous by how far Chambers beat him, Levrone was at least 10 yards behind him.

lol, some have said it, but i'll say it again. I was more impressed just by the fact that Levrone could actually run without tearing his quads.....
No doubt about it...

At least Levrone is a brilliant actor, I expect him to win a few oscars before his day is done
