My point is that we'll be hearing her bash Obama's stimulus plan nonstop for the next 4 years.

But...

She'll sure stand in line and ask for a share of that stimulus money.

I'd applaud her if she stood up and said "The bailout's a bad idea, and Alaska wants no part of it.  Keep that money.  Or give my share back to the people of the USA!"

Now THAT would be an awesome move.

I think she's a fascinating story.  Woefully unprepared for the VP slot in 2008, and 60% of Americans did say they agreed with that.

In 2012, she'll be more prepared, but after 4 years of being a punchline, I don't know if the party power players will get behind her.  It's possible.  She keeps trying to stay relevant.  But she just keeps getting in her own way.  Did you see she blew off speaking to the repub congerss when asked, as "she was too busy with alaska business"?

Then, that very same night, she attended some elite snob DC dinner.  lied to her own party members.  Moves like that don't win support from your party.  And it seeems you vehemently defend her as much as I point out her mistakes.  Maybe you think she's the most qualified person from the repub party to be Pres in 2012.  I'd say if that's the case, you should really look at all the other great candidates the repub party has to offer.
