At the risk of defending Vince Basile, many shows show up like that on Tim's site - only the winners name.

If Tim knows and inputs the name of a winner, the show name automatically becomes a page as thats how his database works.

Many shows show up with just the winners name, especially some international shows when I know for fact was like 50 people in - which is how I noticed it.

Not saying others were in, or not, I was not even alive then - but just saying as only the winner shows up on the database doesn't actually indicate no one else was in.

At the IFBB Mr. Canada 1970... Vince Basille was the only competitor and therefore won the title by default.

Ah really, I hate that. Was just saying how MM works though.

Once I refused to compete as there was no one else in my class [fitness with the flips, harder so fewer entrants]. People were like "enter, its a sure win". I was like, uh, no how embarrassing being all alone. I'd rather be in a deeper class and place 3rd or something $:-\$

Regardless of the Mr Canada dispute, he's competed many time before and although I don't like him, he should have them.

The blue competitor stars are for people who have actually competed in a bodybuilding show however its not the case. In addition, none of the competitors or winners from the Mr Getbig...2008 or even 2007 have gotten their stars.

This is up to Ron to make things right. If anything, the people who actually "regularly" post on Getbig and compete should be more deserving to get them rather than others who just pop in when MD has thrown them under a bus.

Given that, Basile has had many years to provide that information (if it exists)...he's been asked numerous times for a list of those he beat, yet refuses to answer...why?

Vince Basile is a former Mr Canada and has competed in many shows. Guys like "Stavios" get blue stars for coming fucking last in his group and crying about it on getbig.
Whatever your feelings about Vince and Goodrum, they have put on the thong and competed. Given some of the abject SHIT that sport blue stars here, they deserve them.

No, because I sponsored the first Mr Getbig with prizes and was a judge for the 2008 Mr Getbig. It was promised to all of the competitors and it hasn't been fulfilled.

Melvin is fair dinkum. He dieted, got posing trunks and got up on stage and competed. Several times. It is a travesty that he hasn't got his blue stars. Everyone knows it. Looks like someone on Getbig has an agenda.

I could care less about blue stars. I competed long before you guys wore diapers. Those days are long gone. I honestly can't remember if anyone else was in that contest.

You know, Bob, when I squatted 8 reps with 410 pounds I heard a whistling in my ears. My mates couldn't hear it so it must have been some brain damage. I need to take medication or else I get disorientated and distracted easily. Sometimes I honestly believe that what is posted on the internet is really important.
