If it is what he says, a tendon detachment then it could be attached again.

he should have done it as soon as it happened though. maybe it's to late now.

I think you're right about this. Either Lee's not telling the truth, or he doesn't even know for sure himself. If it is a detached biceps tendon, I do not know how OR why he is training biceps, as he is in those pics. Training the injured area is just absurd, no matter what the exact injury is.

He tore one of the 2 proximal attachments (origin) of the biceps. Most often they don't repair this as the function is usually not compromised significantly. Unfortunately, there is a cosmetic change that is important to a bodybuilder. Lee can get it fixed if he finds a surgeon that will repair the tendon. Actually, this type of tear is more common than the distal bicep tear in normal people. In heavy weightlifters we see more distal bicep tears than the in the regular population.

It's just sad to see- those arms were inspiring since the time he was 17, and I totally agree on the face thing- Looks like Lee should get some rest and give those receptors a break.
