Natural test levels
« on: February 06, 2009, 11:29:13 AM »
I got my test levels checked after being off for a full year. Now I was taking tribulus, and ZMA when u had them done, but nothing else. This is what they tested my levels at...

free testosterone was 28.5 pg/ml

testosterone level was 895 ng/dL

I am 29, 6ft, 205lbs, 10% bodyfat, and i workout 5-6 days a week weights and MMA. Now my question is, how good or bad are these levels?

While your total testosterone is in the middle to upper range (350-1200 ng/dl) your free testosterone is not. Your free should be somewhere between 50-250 pg/ml.

The free test is sometimes screwed up or miscalculated and needs to be ran again. Keep in mind everybody has different test levels based on age, body chemistry etc......

These levels I just listed are just a baseline in the community. As long as you feel fine and are not experiencing any symptoms of hypogonadism, I wouldn't worry.

Then again I'd hop back on a cycle stat but that i just me...............

While going back on is appealling, my wife wants a baby this year so i need to keep the boys working at capacity. If my free test is really so low, is there anything i can do to change it?

I personally would recheck it first.   Then if its low a second time, worry about why.   What was your SHBG?  Did they check E2 also?

why not do just a test only cycle then?  its easy to rebound with proper PCT...

They didn't test for either of those so i have no idea. As for the test only cycle, i always do proper PCT but it takes forever for me to recover for some reason, my libido isn't even back until AFTER 8 weeks, and then it's a slow crawl to normalcy.
