RP is looking at this in a wider picture, which is what we all need to do. We are allowing the gov to continue its larger spending ways and printing more money that we don't have.
Yes, good point about some of the republicans between 2001-2006. They could have done a lot more to further true conservatism...they failed. I wonder what Bush's presidency would have been like if we didn't enter Iraq.
The one thing I am not convinced of is his dislike of fiat money. If we stopped printing so much and were more responsible with spending, it would be harder for the dollar to collapse. I know he has good points about the evils of the federal reserve but I'm just not so sure the dollar will collapse if we were more responsible.
