The first guy who tested positive under the new agreement was a doubles hitter who had a lot of stolen bases.  It's not all about power hitting.  Jeter testing positive would be the ultimate scandal for New York.

It is.  And it's not even close.

Between NY/Tampa/Bos playing each other 38 times this year, the teams are going to be exhausted.

Also, as you said, Toronto's pretty good too.  They have some nice pitching depth.

These teams are going to have to make sure they beat the crap out of the rest of the league.

To me, that one would.  I'm solely basing that on charcter.

Even if he was, it wouldn't bother me too much.  The only player that I'd be completely jaded by would be Mariano Rivera.

Smart of him to fess up.  He'll keep the investigators and feds off his back.  We're a very forgiving society with short memories.  He has already separated himself from Bonds, McGuire, Clemens, etc.

I agree, yet reporters are still complaining about holes in his story.  Who cares if it's a little off.  This guy just admitted more than ANY player has, he's admitted using and using for multiple years.  And, he was only outed because somebody else broke the law.

I hope there's huge backlash on Roberts.  Look her up.  She still railed on the Duke lacrosse players even after they were found innocent.  I think it cost her her job.
