I am sooooo f*ing sick of panhandlers

Am I the only one here? I am sick of seeing human trash begging on every street corner, by every shopping center stoplight... Freaking everywhere...

Today I go to take back a couple videos, and I get harassed by some white trash dude beggiing for money. Now, if he was a legitimant bum then it's a little different, but this guy was more skater-fag than anything. He comes up askin for money "Hey bro, can I ask you something man...."... Of course, he's got a Monster energy drink sticking out of his pocket... Fucker can afford $3 energy drinks but can't afford gas or food of whatever he said he needed the $$$ for. The effort it took to bother people all day could have found this douche a job.

Then the sheriff came and told him to get the hell out and don't come back. 

I hate panhandlers.

they were gone in NY for a while, but now they are coming back, homeless people too...cue some pop stars to make a song about it..What I hate is that they often pick me out of a crowd for some reason and I also hate it cause it creates such bad Karma...everytime you walk by one without helping them you are fucked in the Karma department..and if they ask and you ignore them its even worse.

Homeless people are homeless because of their own actions, half the time they're insane, bat-shit crazy, the other half the time they have substance abuse issues. I don't feel bad for them, there are so many outreach programs offering help to restructure one's life, get a job, a place to live, etc. It's just easier for these losers to sleep on the sidewalks and beg for change.

I used to believe that too, but even social workers will roll their eyes at that. People that are on the streets are damaged from childhood, there is no rehabilitating them..Yea you can clean them up and teach them to work a minimum wage job, but that is not going to give them a home or a life..The real problem is parents abusing children, psychic abuse in the form of neglect is the number one destroyer of people, more than the physical abuse which seems to get more attention and sympathy.

I was in AZ and some guy asks me if I have any change.  This is the one time I actually say something instead of passing by, and said "sorry, I don't have any spare change."  He replied, "I didn't ask if you had any SPARE change, I asked if you had change."  I promptly gave him the pissed off "fuck off" and went about my business.  That shit pissed me off.

Funny story in LA.  I passed a bum going into Starbucks without responding to his request and came out about 45 minutes later and he asked again, but then corrected himself out loud and said "oops, I already got money from you before."

I agree with that sentiment completely, but unfortunately there is no saving those that don't want to be saved, like you said there is no rehabilitating them. So it's basically a lost cause.

Nice!  I used to live in Beacon Hill which is a very nice area of Boston.  Anyway there was a bum who lived in the dumpster behind my building and he looked like a pirate.  Picture Jack Sparrow on crack and viola.  I have no idea how this dude got away with living in a dumpster in Beacon Hillm but he did.  He used to listen to head phones and slam Vodka in his dumpster, no joke.


One day I have to go see if he is living there still.  I used to take out the trash and give him food.  He was a cool dude.
